Welcome to the Cambodian Water Supply Association (CWA)!
CWA is a professional organization with extensive expertise in Cambodia’s water sector, serving both urban and rural communities. For over a decade, we have supported and advocated for our members—Private Water Operators (PWOs)—while building strong partnerships with government agencies, development partners, financial institutions, and water sector suppliers. We are proud to work closely with the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MISTI) to advance Cambodia’s goal of providing clean, safe, and affordable water for all citizens.
Guided by our Strategic Plan 2025–2030, CWA is committed to strengthening institutional capacity, enhancing member-centric services, promoting responsible and inclusive water supply practices, and fostering innovation and professionalism across the sector. Our core values—Member-Centric, Partnership, Accountability, Professionalism, and Sustainability—inform every aspect of our work and partnerships.
Our mission is to promote cooperation among PWOs, share knowledge and best practices, and support the sustainable expansion of water services nationwide. As of 2025, CWA represents 343 members, including 286 licensed PWOs operating in 23 provinces and 57 companies providing products and services to the water sector.
We sincerely thank our members and partners for their continued trust and collaboration. Together, we can build a stronger, more sustainable water sector and ensure access to clean water for all Cambodians.

About CWA
Cambodian Water Supply Association (CWA) is an independent, non-profit and non-political organization which brings together all private water suppliers in Cambodia and acts in the interest of the members of the Association.
The Cambodian Water Suppliers Association was established on December 28, 2011 by a group of private water supply operators and was officially registered by the Ministry of Interior on August 6, 2012.
To date, the Cambodian Water Suppliers Association has a total of 329 members, of which 285 professional members are private water operators, who provided pipe water that suppliers across 23 provinces in Cambodia, and 44 supporting members are private companies that supplies products related to Water tool.
CWA’s vision is for the Cambodian people everywhere can access clean and safe water in accordance to the Cambodian water quality standards.
CWA’s mission statement as per their statutes are:
- Support and promote mutual cooperation among private water operator in Cambodia
- Enhance knowledge and technical skills based upon leading practices in Cambodia.
- Encourage the sustainability expansion of water supply services in Cambodia by private water operators.
