Kampong Cham: On Friday, September 19, 2025, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in Phnom Pros Hotel, Kampong Cham province, CWA in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation and Kampong Cham Provincial Administration organized a regional meeting for CWA’s member from Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmum, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Kratie, Svay Rieng and Prey Veng provinces.

The regional meeting’s purpose is “work together to promote water supply services to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals 2030” and objective 1). Listen to the voices of members and find solutions for members, objective 2). Increase communication with sub-national authorities and relevant departments, CWA members and development partners, objective 3). Update the association on laws and regulations related to the water sector and share knowledge, experience, information and new technologies.

The regional meeting was held under the chairmanship of His Excellency UOM Sotha, Secretary of State, Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, His Excellency LOR Chanly, Deputy Governor of Kampong Cham province as a representative of His Excellency the Provincial Governor.

The meeting was attended by a total of 158 (27 females) participants from the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, Department of Public Works and Transport, Department of Mines and Energy, Department of Water Resources and Meteorology, Department of Rural Development, Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadaster from Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmum, Kratie, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Svay Rieng and Prey Veng provinces (From Ratanakiri and Mondulkiri provinces only DISTI), CWA’s members, company representatives, CWA’s BOD and staff.
