According to the annual core workplan of the Cambodian Water Supply Association (CWA), regional meetings will be organized to promote the well-being of members, especially private water operators (PWOs), and to enhance communication with the Department of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (DISTI), CWA members, and development partners.

The regional meeting’s purpose is “Work together to promote water supply services to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals 2030”, and objective 1). To listen to the voices of members and find solutions for members, objective 2). Increase communication with sub-national authorities and relevant departments, CWA members and development partners and objective 3). Update on the association, various laws and regulations related to the water sector and share knowledge, experience, information and new technologies.

Therefore, the Cambodian Water Supply Association, development partnerស and its supporting members collaborate to organize the first regional meeting on May 7, 2026 in Siem Reap province with an expected attendance of 112 participants.
