Cambodian Water Supply Association (CWA) is a local professional association that specializes in water service supply both in urban and rural areas of Cambodia. We work closely with water service providers throughout the country, development partners\u2014 USAID-WASH-FIN, WaterAid, EMW, Water.org, AEA, UNICEF, AWA, KOWBA, JICA, etc., banks, supplying companies, and relevant ministries to bring clean, safe, and affordable water to all Cambodian people. Our roles are: (1) to support and promote cooperation among water operators in Cambodia, (2) to enhance knowledge and technical skills, and (3) to encourage the sustainable expansion of water supply services in Cambodia.<\/p>\n

We are currently looking for: one Water Supply Engineering (Full-Time) <\/strong>based in Phnom Penh with frequently travel to provinces.<\/p>\n

SALARY and BENEFIT<\/strong>: Negotiable\u00a0and\u00a0competitive salary<\/p>\n

Contract type:<\/strong>\u00a0Fix Term Contract for one year with possible extension.<\/p>\n

JOB DESCRIPTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Water <\/strong>S<\/strong>upply Engineering (WSE)<\/strong> will be working closely with the Program Manager and Executive Director to provide water supply technical support service and technical management capacity building to water operators and relevant stakeholders. S\/he is responsible for the overall management of CWA\u2019s water supply engineering service and technical management capacity building to ensure that the projects and services achieve their intended result and meet customer satisfaction. The specific roles for the position are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Assist in conducting water utility assessment and prepare utility upgrade, and\/ or improvement plant<\/li>\n
  2. Assist in conducting water business feasibility study and prepare water business plan<\/li>\n
  3. Assist in designing water treatment, water storage, water tower, pumping system and\/or piped water network<\/li>\n
  4. Assist in developing and deliver technical capacity building interventions<\/li>\n
  5. Assist in reporting on the technical quality of all technical tasks and activities<\/li>\n
  6. Assist in supervising and managing the works flow of technical staff, site engineers, and draftsman<\/li>\n
  7. Assist in correspondence with relevant partners, private water operators and maintain good relationships.<\/li>\n
  8. Collect data and draft the market analysis reports<\/li>\n
  9. Assist Private Water operators to conduct sub-national meetings and water tours.<\/li>\n
  10. Perform other tasks as requested by the program manager.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The following minimum requirements are expected for these assignments:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. At least hold bachelor\u2019s degree in water engineering, rural engineer or equivalent<\/li>\n
    2. At least 3 years\u2019 experience in related to water supply engineering work.<\/li>\n
    3. Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.<\/li>\n
    4. High level of English knowledge and skill both in writing, reading and speaking.<\/li>\n
    5. Ability to work under pressure, both independently as well as part of the team.<\/li>\n
    6. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Auto Cad, GIS, or Topography<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
