Cambodian Water Supply Association (CWA) is a local professional association specializes in water service supply both in urban and rural areas of Cambodia. We work closely with water service providers throughout the country, development partners\u2014 USAID-WASH-FIN, WaterAid, EMW, Water.org, AEA, UNICEF, AWA, KOWBA, JICA, etc., banks, supplying companies, and relevant ministries to bring clean, safe, and affordable water to all Cambodian people. Our roles are: (1) to support and promote cooperation among water operators in Cambodia, (2) to enhance knowledge and technical skills based upon leading practices in Cambodia, and (3) to encourage the sustainability expansion of water supply services in Cambodia.<\/p>\n

We are currently looking for: one Senior Water Supply Engineering (Full-Time) <\/strong>based in Phnom Penh.<\/p>\n

SALARY and BENEFIT<\/strong>: Negotiable\u00a0and\u00a0competitive salary<\/p>\n

Contract type:<\/strong>\u00a0Fix Term Contract for one year with possible extension.<\/p>\n

JOB DESCRIPTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Senior Water <\/strong>S<\/strong>upply Engineering (SWE)<\/strong> will be working closely with the Program Manager and Executive Director to provide water supply technical support service and technical management capacity building to water operators and relevant stakeholders. S\/he is responsible for an overall management of CWA\u2019s water supply engineering service and technical management capacity building to ensure that the projects and services achieve their intended result and meet customer satisfaction. The specific roles for the position are:<\/p>\n

  1. Conduct water utility assessment and prepare utility upgrade and\/ or improvement plant<\/li>\n
  2. Conduct water business feasibility study and prepare water business plan<\/li>\n
  3. Design water treatment, water storage, water tower, pumping system and\/or water piped network<\/li>\n
  4. Develop and deliver technical capacity building interventions<\/li>\n
  5. Control, monitor, and report on the technical quality of all technical tasks and activities<\/li>\n
  6. Supervise and manage the works flow of technical staffs, site engineer and draftsman<\/li>\n
  7. Correspond with relevant partners, private water operators and maintain good relationship.<\/li>\n
  8. Perform other tasks as requested by the Executive Director.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
